Community Partnerships That Get Noticed!

The Dreambuilders Foundation partners companies across America with well-known athletes on community initiatives benefitting children in need. Since 2010, Dreambuilders and its corporate partners have handed out more than $4 million in grants to schools, after school clubs and other youth organizations for a variety of projects. These include handing out essential items like shoes and winter coats, playground and library renovations and programs that address food insecurity.

THE PARTNERSHIPS & EVENTS

Dreambuilders builds attention-grabbing community events for corporate partners, like Travis Kelce’s holiday
shopping spree at JCPenney.

In today’s business world, companies need to do more than just stand out. They must be seen as good citizens which invest back into the communities that support them. But it can be challenging getting the public to notice the good work you do. Dreambuilders helps its partners maximize public relations value of community programs by aligning them with well-known athletes who have a similar passion for charity work. There is no need for an appearance fee for the athlete. The contribution to Dreambuilders, a 501c3 non-profit, pays for the entire project and the P.R. event to dedicate it.

Dreambuilders will organize an event with the athlete and kids benefitting from the project to highlight the partnership. The event will be promoted to the local media, and the athlete will speak to his partnership with the corporate partner in making it happen. Check prentations, ribbon cuttings and volunteer opportunities for employees can also be included if desired.

Dreambuilders has a 10-year track record of executing successful partnerships that garner extensive media coverage for partners like UnitedHealthcare, JCPenney, Albertsons and Cargill. Let us work for your company to breathe new life into the good work you do for others.

THE BENEFITS

  • Dreambuilders will work directly with the school, club or benefitting agency to organize and plan the media event.

  • Dreambuilders will pay all vendors to fully execute the project or program.

  • The event offers excellent volunteer opportunities for employees.

  • A Dreambuilders athlete’s participation provides added appeal to media outlets to cover the event.

  • Dreambuilders is 501c3 federal tax-exempt organization. All contributions are tax-exempt.

  • Programs and projects can be customized to your company’s budget and philanthropic goals.

  • Most can be fully executed for as little as $12,000- $20,000.

Your business gets much more visibility for its community involvement when you partner with a Dreambuilders athlete.

CASE STUDY:

UnitedHealthcare in Milwaukee

Bucks all-star Khris Middleton partnered with UnitedHealthcare to deliver new coats to students in Milwaukee, and the event got plenty of attention.

A TURN-KEY EVENT

On November 30, 2021, Milwaukee Bucks All-Star Khris Middleton and UnitedHealthcare teamed up to provide all of the students from Maple Tree Elementary School in Milwaukee with new winter coats. A $17,000 UnitedHealthcare grant to the Dreambuilders Foundation funded the purchase of the new coats along with additional winter clothing items (gloves, hats). Middleton, a Dreambuilders athlete, was on hand at the school to support the initiative and was joined by employee volunteers from UnitedHealthcare who distributed the coats and clothing items to students inside the school following COVID protocols.

Dreambuilders worked with the school and with Khris Middleton to organize the event. While UHC’s donation paid for the coats, Dreambuilders paid the vendors and worked with the school to ensure a smooth, fun event for its students and staff. UHC’s PR agency worked with Dreambuilders to handle media outreach, resulting in a highly-visible community event.
